I was thinking it would be difficult to find an acupuncturist to cover for me while I take a maternity leave because New Jersey is a difficult state to get an acupuncture license. I was surprised at the many responses that I received and had a hard time chosing between the candidates.
Michael Gonzales, L.Ac was asked to work for us and he agreed. A little history about Michael:
He recently relocated back to the East Coast from California with his family and lives here in Somerest, NJ.
Michael obtained a Masters of Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NYC. Upon finishing school he moved to San Francisco and worked in several settings gaining experience in muscular pain and injury, insomnia, anxiety and stress relief. He also worked in a clinic that specialized in fertility treatment and a clinic for HIV and Hepatitis C patients.
We are happy to have him join us and believe that his knowledge will benefit our center.
